Adoptable Dog in St. Louis: Meet Addison!
Addison, our featured adoptable dog today, says Happy Monday! She is a ball of energy and is still just a puppy! She is a seven-month-old Great Dane/Shepherd Mix and weighs about forty-four pounds right now. Addison is up-to-date on her shots and is spayed.
She wandered up to some children playing basketball outside and it just so happened that one of their brothers knew about GPG. He contacted someone from GPG and that person is currently her foster mom. Although Addison loves her foster family, what this sweet girl really wants more than anything is a forever home! She would also love to have another dog in her new home!
Addison is great with people, other dogs, and seems nonreactive towards cats. She is great around children, but may do best around older children. She may jump for hugs if she gets excited. However, she is very friendly towards them. She has a lot of puppy energy and loves playing and wresting around with her foster siblings. Addison loves to play with her toys too, but has become a pro at pulling the stuffing out of her toys! One of her favorite places is to go to is the dog park. She loves just about any place that allows her to be next to her family. Addison loves to unwind with cuddle-time with her humans.
Addison is a very good listener and has also been going to Kennelwood for training. She’s been passing classes with flying colors! Addison is treated motivated, which makes her very easy to train. She knows basic commands like “sit” and “down”. She is also wonderful on a leash and does well on walks. She does just as well in the car too! Addison is potty and crate trained. Although she is great in in her crate, she’d love to sleep in the bed if you are willing to share!
Addison comes guaranteed with lots of tail wagging and love for her forever family!
