Adoptable Dog in St. Louis: Meet Calamity!

This Monday we are featuring beautiful Calamity! Calamity is a Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog mix. She is already spayed and is up-to-date with her shots.

Calamity and her litter were rescued as strays from an abandoned house in East St. Louis. GPG was also able to rescue an adult dog who we believe is Calamity’s grown pup. They both have the same beautiful brindle coat and it can be difficult to tell which is mother and daughter sometimes!

This girl is such a gentle and loving dog. Calamity really enjoys playing with other dogs and gets along with other dogs well. She is very playful and her favorite game is fetch. She is also in love humans! Calamity is a little shy when first meeting people, but she warms up to them quickly. She’s great at making new friends! Don’t be surprised if she rolls over and asks for a belly rub, because she LOVES bell rubs. She also loves kisses too!

Calamity is house-trained and is such a good girl that she doesn’t even have to be crated anymore. Her foster mom lets her have the run of the house when she’s gone. Calamity is a fast learner and picked up the sit command perfectly! She walks well on a leash, so she would be perfect on walks. At night she loves to cuddle with her humans.
