Happy Monday! What better way to start off the week than to tell a “Happy Tail” of our Mr. Happy! This adorable boy is one happy fella, but what would make him even happier is to find his furever family and have a very happy ending to his story!
Mr. Happy was one of the dogs that GPG fed regularly on the feeding route. He loved coming up to the car window and interacting with the feeders. He would get a special biscuit bone and pay back in plenty of licks and kisses. We were so excited when we got a chance to finally rescue him! When he first came to the shelter he was healing from an attack but that didn’t break his spirits.
Mr. Happy is a Pit Bull Terrier mix. He is already neutered and up-to-date with shots. He is also house and crate-trained. The crate is not his favorite place, but he’s quiet when he’s in it. He is a very well behaved dog!
This sweet boy gets along with everyone, including children. He also plays nice with other dogs. He’s only three years old, but he’s got an old soul. He is a low energy kind of dog and is super low maintenance. Mr. Happy is perfectly happy lounging on the couch and relaxing. His first choice would be snuggling with his humans of course. He LOVES to cuddle! He does like to have the occasional romp in the yard and a good walk. He gets extra tail-wagging happy when he sees his leash come out!
This guy is great for any who wants an easy dog, just as long as you don’t mind a bigger fella who thinks he’s still a lap dog!
