This Monday we are featuring one of the shelter favorites, Nestle! Everyone agrees she is the easiest dog at the shelter and would be the perfect addition to any home without cats. She is a medium-sized Terrier Mix weighing in at about 40 pounds.
This sweet girl was rescued on New Year’s Eve with her two-week-old puppies Crunch, Rolo, and Baby Ruth. Don’t worry, this momma of three is spayed now and also fully vaccinated. Nestle just finished weaning her three healthy puppies and they’ve all found their forever homes! Now it’s time for this momma to find hers too! She would also be happy to have a foster home in the interim.
Nestle is great with people and all the shelter volunteers LOVE her! She loves being close and cuddling is one of her favorite things to do. She is super friendly and also gets along great with other dogs. In fact, she’s made some good friends at the shelter and she loves running around with them during playtime. While she will miss her friends there, both human and the four-legged kind, she is even more excited to make new friends outside the shelter!
If you couldn’t tell already by the silly faces that Nestle loves to make, she is an absolute goofball! She loves playing with her dog toys and being silly. She is an easy going dog and just great to have around. While Nestle does like to play, she is also a great listener and is well behaved. She knows the ‘sit’ command very well. She is already crate-trained and potty-trained. Did we already mention how easy this girl is?!
