Lisa Boyer
Finance Chair, Board of Directors
Lisa Boyer has been involved with Gateway Pet Guardians for four years. She is the Finance Chair on GPG’s Board of Directors. As a board member, she is engaged in the strategic planning and long term direction of the organization. They spend a lot of time working through current issues, but they also spend a considerable amount of time planning for GPG’s future. As a passionate supporter of the organization, she enjoys being involved in the business decisions that help fund and support the phenomenal work Gateway Pet Guardians does in the community.
Lisa loves all of GPG’s events and she tries to support them as much as possible, but the most inspirational and rewarding event for her is participating in the daily feedings or rescue events with PJ. It is difficult for her to find the time to get on PJ’s schedule, but when it happens it helps her appreciate the good work GPG does in the community and the direct connection we have with the homeless dogs in our area. Participating in the feedings is an amazing reminder that we need to do more to support GPG!
Lisa’s family includes her husband, Paul; their rottweiler, Hank; their pit bull, Barney; their St. Bernard mix, Sadie; and their crazy cat who runs the entire house, Prissy. When asked who her favorite GPG dog is, Lisa of course answered Sadie, who they adopted from GPG 4+ years ago. They are also huge fans of Titus – he is such a sweetheart!
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband, their pets, and rehabbing their old house in Kirkwood. They always have a house project in motion.
Lisa has been with us for four years, and we’re hoping many more. Her contributions have helped GPG grow tremendously, and we thank her for her hard work and dedication!
