“My family and I foster-to-adopted Prodigy shortly before Christmas and officially adopted her in early January. Our previous dog had crossed the Rainbow Bridge a couple months prior and we weren’t necessarily looking to adopt a new canine companion right away, but of course I went online to look at shelter animals, found the GPG site, and fell in love with Prodigy immediately. When I saw the caption ‘all she wants for Christmas is a home for the holidays,’ how could I say no to her sweet face? Prodigy likes cuddling on the couch, giving kisses to pretty much anyone she meets, gently tearing up her chew toys, and running figure-eights and playing keep-away in the backyard. She’s an angel of a dog and I’m forever grateful she is ours!”
