Meet Burberry, an adoptable dog in St. Louis! Sweet, cuddly, and well-mannered, this little black Labrador Retriever/Bassett Hound mix is priceless. At 3 years old, and weighing roughly 62 lbs, she’s the perfect starter dog for a couple or family who are first time pet parents looking to open their home up to a canine companion.
Burberry is a remarkably well-rounded soul. In a word, her foster family says she’s simply an ‘angel’. She loves all people, but has not had the opportunity to interact with kids yet. She’s extremely patient and an exceptionally attentive, gentle, and all around mellow spirit. She gets along with other dogs, but is not fond of cats so she would do best in a home without them. Her foster family confesses she’s the perfect couch companion. She is a very laid back and typically low-energy girl who loves to cuddle and spend time with her family.
Some of her favorite hobbies include a good game of ‘fetch’ with her stuffed animals and mooching as many belly rubs out of her family as she can. If you want to win this little lady over all you need are great cuddling and petting skills – she melts to the floor as soon as someone starts to pet her. She’s also a quick learner and knows several commands including ‘sit’. Burberry is always eager to please her family and is looking for her forever home where she can live the rest of her life with a family who deserves her as much as she deserves them.
While Burberry is house trained, crate trained, spayed, and up to date with shots, her family reports she is also a mature and responsible girl who does fine out of her crate all day while they are at work. She’s comfortable in the crate as well and does exceptionally well either way. Loyal and dedicated, there’s not much this sweet girl isn’t willing to learn or do to please her family.
