Meet Mackie, an adoptable dog in St. Louis! Mackie is an adorable 11 month old German Shepherd/Chow Chow mix and an all around great guy. At just under a year old he has almost reached his full growth potential. This beautiful boy loves just about everyone he meets and is waiting patiently for that one person (or family) that will love him just as much.
Mackie is one of the good guys. He loves having fun, playing, and spending time with his foster family. A real loverboy, he can usually be found sitting and snuggling with his foster family. He’s a well-mannered and handsome boy who does well with children, other dogs, and even cats. What more could anyone ask for? He’s also neutered, housetrained, and crate-trained and up-to-date with shots.
While he already knows some commands he’s eager to learn more and just enjoys the company of others no matter what he does. He would do well with an active family or even in a more laid back home just as long as he had a backyard to stretch his legs and get in his daily dose of exercise. Mackie is energetic and enjoys going for a walk and does well on a leash. He’s a great listener and a very attentive boy. He would make a great companion to just about anybody who is willing to give him the love and attention he deserves in return.
