Strangers are just friends waiting to happen
Hey there! My name is Miss Demeanor but my friends call me Ellie! Speaking of friends, I’m pretty traditional and believe proper introductions are a must. But once we’ve met (and you’ve given me a little string cheese), we will be the best of friends!
Aside from my human friends I also love other dogs! It’s true. The nice people at the shelter even use me “tester” to see if new dogs are friendly. I love to run and play with my canine buddies and play “king of the hill”. When I don’t have my best buds around, I also like to play with the stuffed toys the shelter volunteers bring for me.
When I’m not spending time frolicking with my friends, I also enjoy a good walk. I’ve learned how to be a good walker and don’t pull my humans along with me. Actually, I’m such a good walker I think I could walk myself (sometimes I even try by taking the leash in my mouth), but I guess I continue to let the humans feel important.
As you can see my life is pretty perfect, I’m just missing one thing: a forever home. I would love to shower my adopters with love, companionship and undying loyalty. All I need is a patient family who will welcome my quirks and allow me to grow in confidence (and feed me cheese). I would do great in a home with adults and another dog, but my human friends say that cats are a no-go (something about me thinking they are lunch…whatever). I’m house trained, crate trained and ready to go home with you!
