Cranberry's looking for her forever home!!

Wednesday’s are Featured Foster days at GPG and today we’re going to introduce you to Cranberry!  She’s a beautiful brindle Terrier Mix who is approximately 2 years & 2 months old.  She’s affectionate, loyal and has the sweetest face with big, beautiful brown eyes!  She has a really nice foster home with two dogs who have become her buddies and she’s formed a nice bond with her foster mom but she’s ready for a home of her very own.

Cranberry is house trained and crate trained and is easy to lure into the crate with yummy treats.  She is spayed, microchipped, current on her shots and on flea & tick protection.  She gets along nicely with dogs, especially the two in her foster home, she’s non-responsive to cats and hasn’t been around children yet.

She’s a friendly girl who is gentle and shy when she first meets someone but she does warm up to them.  Cranberry is very sweet & affectionate, enjoys cuddling and likes to give quick kisses.  She’s a loyal dog who follows her foster mom everywhere and sleeps in bed with her at night, snuggling closely then stretching out during the night but still staying nearby.  It really brightens her foster mom’s mood after a long day at work to come home to this lovable sweetheart, especially when she’s greeted happily at the door!

Cranberry has a lot of fun playing with her foster family’s dogs.  She loves all types of toys, especially rope toys, and her favorite game is fetch.  She also enjoys relaxing and spending quality time with rawhides and Kongs with treats. This beautiful pup was pretty skinny when she was rescued and she’s eating really well now & putting on weight.  She loves to eat and her favorite treats are Pup-Peroni’s and Milk-Bones.

She’s a good girl who listens very well, pays attention and knows how to sit and shake.  Since she loves food & treats so much, it should be fun to teach her commands and tricks. She loves going for walks and does well on a leash without pulling but she does get excited when she sees a squirrel.  This adorable girl enjoys going on car rides and hops right into the car and sits quietly in the front seat.

Cranberry will be ready to go to her forever home the last week of February and she can’t wait to start her new life in her very own home!  She promises to bring a lot of sweetness and doggie kisses with her!
