It takes the help of many organizations working together to make the Gateway Pet Guardians Spay/Neuter Program program work. Thanks to our partners, we have been able to fix over 1,100 pets since our program began in 2012! We’d like to take a moment to thank each partner and share how they contribute to our program.

Carol House Quick Fix Pet Clinic is a low cost, high volume spay/neuter clinic offering services to pet owners in the St. Louis area. CHQF performs most of our surgeries. We also partner with BARCSTL.org, who subsidizes those services for low-income families. Then, thanks to grants from organizations like BISSELL Pet Foundation and private supporters, we cover the rest of the cost. We also have additional support covering the cost of spay/neuter surgeries for community cats through a grant from Community Cats Podcast that funds our TNR work in the Metro East. In addition to these organizations, we also have dozens of volunteers working with residents in the community to sign them up for our services, and provide free transportation to and from the clinic.

Thanks to these incredible partnerships, we have been able to fix 329 pets in 2017 and 99 pets so far in 2018. One of the pets that were fixed this year was Blue, shown below with his adorable family. Thanks to everyone who supports our program, Blue’s family can rest easy knowing he is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped!
